This class is designed by a professional dog walker to teach you fun games and activities that you can do with your dog on your daily walks to break up monotony. Dog walking doesn't have to be a grind, it can be an enriching activity where you and your dog learn to work and move through the space as a team. You will also gain insight on body language and work on training cues to help you achieve more joyful & peaceful walks. Go on a 1 hour group walk with Edee, a professional dog walker for over 15 years to learn how to make your walks more fun and engaging and how to use your body and training to achieve fun and peaceful walks. Leash Manners class is designed to help you get the basics of loose lead in under an hour. Get your dog to focus on you and walk on a loose lead. We will do various exercises on heelwork, focus and adding an automatic sit to achieve the best possible leash manners. Scentwork Detectives Club is designed to help you build up your dog's ability to sniff out and target a particular scent and give you a clear indication on it. Suitable for any dog that can search for Kong or clove.. The part of a dog's brain that is devoted to analyzing smells is about 40 times greater than ours and humans have been harnessing this super power for millenias and it is many breeds' primary work purpose. It is a low impact activity suitable for any dog. We strive to create a positive, inclusive and respectful atmosphere for everyone in our classes. We are LGBTQ+ friendly.
