Reactive Dog 1to1

Service Description

This is 1to1 tutoring so you can learn how to get your reactive dog to respond in a more positive way to distractions that get them to see red. This is the pefect for people who are struggling with nuissance behaviour like jumping up, pulling, barking, lunging, biting, obsessing, struggling at the vets or difficult to groom. By assessing your dog's personality and behaviour, your trainer will give you tailor made advice on why the behaviour is occuring, tools and exercises to manage it and how to enrich your dog's life to turn bad habits into good ones. We use balanced approach to training and want to help you spot your dog's body language cues so you can assess their emotions and train them to offer behaviours that are positive and helpful. We employ behavioural adjustment training (BAT training) and Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive (LIMA) training techniques to help you achieve positive and long lasting results. Each session is 1 hour and comes with a training plan and recommendations for tools, classes and follow ups until you feel comfortable and happy in your relationship with your dog and you have achieved your training goals.

Cancellation Policy

We will automatically refund your booking if you book from an area outside of our catchment area of Cardiff. We will offer a full refund up to 72 hours before the start of the booking. If cancelled within the 72 hours or if you don't show up to our arranged meeting time/place, we will not be offering a refund.
